TWO Hampshire teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of murder after the death of an 18-year-old.

Police were called by the ambulance service to a house this afternoon where they found the man in cardiac arrest.

He was taken to Basingstoke hospital but despite efforts to save his life, he was pronounced dead.

Officers were called to the house in Frescade Crescent, in Kings Furlong, Basingstoke at 2.30pm.

Police are speaking with his next-of-kin but have not released his identity.

A post-mortem examination will take place by a Home Office pathologist to establish the cause of death.

A 16-year-old boy and 14-year-old girl, both from Basingstoke, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and are currently in police custody.

Officers will conduct house-to-house enquiries this evening in the Frescade Crescent area.

They said they are not looking for anybody else in connection with the death.

Two police cars were seen parked outside the house this evening.
