TWO teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was found in cardiac arrest in a house in Hampshire.

Police were called by the ambulance service to a house in Frescade Crescent in Basingstoke at 2.30pm this afternoon and found an 18-year-old man in cardiac arrest.

He was taken to Basingstoke hospital where he was pronounced dead, despite efforts made to save his life.

Police are speaking with his next-of-kin but have not released his identity.

A post-mortem examinsation will take place by a Home Office pathologist to establish the cause of death.

A 16-year-old boy and 14-year-old girl, both from Basingstoke, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and are currently in police custody.

Officers will conduct house-to-house enquiries this evening in the Frescade Crescent area.

They said they are not looking for anybody else in connection with the death.

Two police cars were seen parked outside the house this evening.
