Police in Portsmouth are appealing for anyone who has had a leaf blower stolen to come forward.

Investigating officer PC Michael Owen said: “We're looking for the victim of a theft, where it is alleged someone has stolen a Viking BE600 leaf blower from the back of a lorry in the area of Watts Road in Portsmouth.

“Has anybody had a leaf blower of this description go missing in the past couple of months?

“If so, please contact me at Portsmouth Central police station.”

A 22-year-old man from Portsmouth was arrested on June 22, 2014 on suspicion of theft, and remains on police bail until July 21, 2014 pending further enquiries.
