AN emotional appeal has been launched by the devastated owners of a beloved family dog missing since June.

Fly, a seven-year-old male Springer Spaniel cross, went missing from Godshill Woods, Fordingbridge, on June 27.

He was out with owner Jane Moore when he caught a scent and failed to return to her.

Fly is black and white, has long legs, short clipped fur, a long tail, and black freckles over his snout.

A large red round ID tag with a white paw print and contact details was attached to his black and yellow Dogs Trust collar when he went missing.

He is also micro-chipped.

Jane said: “Fly is a much loved and missed family pet; who following a very shaky start in life, has learned to trust us. He needs to be at home.

“We are extremely grateful to all those who have so generously donated their time and energy during this on-going search for Fly.

“The many kindnesses demonstrated to us and Fly have been humbling indeed.”
