AGE UK Winchester has teamed up with Hampshire Fare to organise an evening of local food and drink near Alresford.

The event, on Friday, July 11, is a fundraiser for the local charity and provides the opportunity to find out more about and taste Hampshire produce. It is part of this year’s Hampshire Food Festival.

The venue, Pinglestone Barn, at Old Alresford, is being provided by the charity’s patron, Lady Alison Wakeham and Lord John Wakeham.

The gates open at 6pm and the event closes at 8.30pm.

Admission is £10 (children go free) and includes a glass of Hattingley Valley fizz, which is produced just a few miles from Alresford.

To find out more about the event, or to reserve your place, email pinglestone.barn@ gmail.com or call Age UK on 01962 871712.
