Roof appeal hits target
RESIDENTS using a Hampshire community centre now have a roof over their heads for the next 20 years after a fundraising campaign reached its target.
Winnall Community Association has secured the rest of the funding needed to replace the roof of its community centre near Winchester thanks to a £12,500 county council grant earlier this year towards the cost.
Now they are high and dry after a further £63,005 has been awarded by Veolia Environmental Trust.
