What's a Police ambulance and why did they need a fire at the scene?

More shoddy reporting from the "that'll do, that's close enough DE"

Shame on the drivers using the hard shoulder to pass the queues and consequently holding up the fire engine trying to get to the scene. One day your loved ones may need cutting out of a car and I'm sure you wouldn't want selfish idiots slowing down the emergency response. But oh no, your life is far too important to be slowed down by someone else's accident.

My best guess is some idiot coming off the m3 doing 90 then probably tried crossing the 3 lanes to maintain his speed. And the guy on the M27 probably doing 60 didn't know what hit him. I am surprised it doesn't happen more often there

My 7 year old daughter was involved. Fire Brigade was needed to get them out of the car which had smashed into the crash barrier on hard shoulder. Thankfully after a few hours in hospital she is ok. The emergency services were wonderful, can't praise them enough.
