CHILDREN in Southampton have been treated to a day of adventure with a play charity.
They were chugging along the model railway in Riverside Park and enjoying the sunshine thanks to Community Playlink.
The Northam-based group took families on a day out for their annual fun day where parents were encouraged to get involved with group games and have a ride on the train.
Volunteers from the charity were busy keeping children entertained with water play, play dough, face painting and kite making, crafts and there was also a raffle, with all the money raised donated to the running of its toddler groups.
Community Playlink is a children’s charity which promotes and improves play and childcare by setting up free toy libraries and groups across the city.
