A MOTHER from Hampshire killed herself at a popular dog walking spot after battling with depression most of her life, an inquest heard.

Southampton Coroners Court heard how Karen Sivyer had asked for help from her husband to combat her illness days before she died.

The 47-year old from The Gannetts, Stubbington, had driven to a disused railway line in Soberton.

She had texted her husband and son moments before her body was found by a dog walker on March 4 this year.

Hampshire Coroner Grahame Short recorded a verdict of suicide.
