CONCERNS are growing for a missing mum whose car was found abandoned in Hampshire.

Debbie Ward was last seen when she left home on Sunday lunchtime and her family reported her missing to the police later that same afternoon.

Officers discovered her T-reg Toyota Landcruiser parked, with keys still in the ignition and windows open, at a quay at Langstone, between Havant and Hayling Island, yesterday lunchtime.

Hampshire police are now searching the mud flats and other open areas around Langstone Harbour in a bid to find any clues about her whereabouts.

The 41-year-old, from Bognor Regis, had been depressed recently and her husband and children are desperately worried for her.

She is described as white, 5ft 9ins, with green eyes and long blonde straight hair.

PC Heather Mackay, of the West Sussex Missing Persons Unit, said: “We are very concerned about Debbie and anyone who has seen her or knows where she might be is asked to contact is right away via 101 or email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk.”
