ADVENTUROUS pupils from a Southampton secondary school are swapping their classroom lessons for the trip of a lifetime.
Staff and 19 pupils from Bitterne Park School have set off on their first ever expedition to Morocco.
As part of the trip the group, which includes pupils from Years 9, 10, 11 and sixth formers, will aim to climb the highest mountain in North Africa.
Before they set off on the excursion, deputy head teacher Pan Panayiotou said: “This is our first expedition so we are all really excited about going.”
