Police are investigating the theft of over 60 bags of grass seed from a Hampshire farm.

Each bag of the grass seed, which are Horizon Super Four and Horizon High Sugar, would be enough to plant an acre of land.

PC Dan Coppin said: “I would like to speak to anyone with information about this burglary. I’d also like to speak to anyone who has been offered any grass seed for sale or knows of grass seed being offered for sale.”

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact PC Coppin at Andover police station by calling 101. Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

I would check b&q PC dan. I was there today and I'm sure I saw grass seed for sale.
