THE people of Romsey turned out in style for their annual carnival.

A procession travelled from Romsey Industrial Estate into the town centre, featuring dancers, batton twirlers and rugby players.

Romsey Good Neighbours hopped on mobility scooters for their float 'chariots on fire' while youngsters from Romsey Brownies dressed up as minions from children's film Despicable Me, children from Romsey Centre Preschool who had a World Cup themed float, a team from the Bishops Blaze pub donned colourful mardi gras outfits and Disney's Mickey and Minnie Mouse also joined staff from baby accessories shop The Baby Room.

Residents came out in force to watch the procession and catch a glimpse of carnival queen Georgia Fernley and her princesses Ella Little and Lucie-Ann Holloway.
