HAMPSHIRE’S Amanda Holden will be taking her place on one of the most famous sofas on television.
The actress and Britain’s Got Talent judge, who grew up in Bishop’s Waltham, has been chosen to step into the shoes of This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby when she goes on maternity leave in September.
She will front the ITV daytime show alongside Phillip Schofield for the first part of Holly’s leave, with Christine Bleakley taking over for the second part.
Amanda said: “I have always been a huge fan of This Morning and love presenting with Phillip so I really can’t wait to get started."
