FROM dancing to dog shows, a Hampshire shopping village is celebrating summer with a day of fun.

Following on from last summer’s 30th birthday event, Locks Heath Shopping Village is holding another party showcasing talent of local groups on July 26, from 11am to 4pm.

This will include dancing, solo singers, dog shows and fitness classes.

Acts will include the Better Body Club, The Laura Dunkley School of Dance and Performing Arts and street dance performance group 220 Ent.

Animal behaviourist Andy Collins is running Gillie’s Leap Fun Dog Show.

Dogs will compete in more than 21 categories including prettiest eyes and waggiest tail.

Entry is a £1.50 donation, of which all proceeds will go towards the Greyhound Rescue West of England charity.
