VIEWS of ancient Egypt now adorns walls at a Hampshire school.
Talented Year 6 pupils at Hiltingbury Junior School in Chandler’s Ford created the mural to brighten up what was once a drab staircase.
Now pupils can feast their eyes on ancient hieroglyphics, depictions of Egyptian gods and a landscape including the Sphinx and pyramids.
The work was done under the guidance of local wildlife artist Sally Goodden.
She said: “The children were brilliant, and very excited to be the new ‘Banksys’! They did a wonderful job, and it was a real pleasure to work with such an enthusiastic group.”
There are now plans to create a rainforest scene on another staircase next year.
