A NEW-LOOK Hampshire museum is appealing for more volunteers ahead of its opening this summer.
Thanks to a £666,000 Heritage Lottery Fund grant Bursledon Brickworks has recently been refurbished and will reopen in August.
It will include an education room, new displays, interactive learning for visitors and an exhibition gallery.
But volunteers are needed to help run the museum and all are welcome to sign up regardless of age or experience.
Half of the money has been spent on continuing the restoration of the buildings and improving disabled access throughout for a wider range of people being able to come and learn.
It is understood the museum will be open three days per week, on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, from 11am-4pm.
Bursledon Brickworks was closed as a fully-functioning brickworks in 1974.
However in 2007 the decision was made to transformthe buildings into a museum.
