FITNESS fanatics are encouraged to take part in zumbathon event in Hampshire tomorrow in a bid to raise cash for charity.

Children can join adults in the fun at the 2000 Centre in St John’s Road in Hedge End and whip up some cash for Parkinson’s UK from 11am to 1pm.

The event starts at 11am, followed by a raffle with prizes donated by Hedge End firms and organiser Laura Barltrop hopes to smash last year’s collection.

She said: “Last year’s event managed to raise a total of £1,300 & it would be fantastic if we could beat that this year.

“If you would like to come along and support on the day, by watching and taking part in the raffle, there is a small charge of £2 for adults, £1 for children that goes into the charity pot.”
