A WOMAN needed hospital treatment for shock after robbers threatened her in an early morning raid on a convenience store.
Three men stormed into the Co-op in Lyndhurst Road, Ashurst, and threatened the 69-year-old member of staff on duty.
The victim was taken to hospital by ambulance following the incident at 5.30am this morning but has since been released.

Officers are investigating and want anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time of the incident and anyone who may have seen a dark coloured hatchback car in the area at the time or driving away afterwards to contact them.
Detective Inspector Amanda Horsburgh said: “This was a distressing incident for the shop worker which left her very shaken.
“I would appeal for anyone with information that may assist our investigation into this robbery to contact us.”
