Investigation launched into two explosions on Lee-on-the-Solent street
AN investigation is under way after explosions rocked a residential street.
Two blasts were heard as a fire broke out at a property in Cambridge Road in Lee-on-the-Solent.
Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service said that three crews from Gosport, Fareham and Portchester battled the blaze.
The fire began in a wooden workshop at the back and spread to the house.
Firefighters managed to contain the fire, with slight damage caused to the roof.
No one was injured.
The fire began about 5pm on Saturday and was out by 6.45pm.
