Fareham Borough Council launches new private rental scheme is launched
A Hampshire council has launched a new private rental scheme to help house people who urgently need somewhere to live.
Fareham Borough Council has launched FareLets, which is aimed at landlords who need tenants.
It offers three services: Tenant Find, Managed Lease and Full Management, with varying levels of involvement in the letting process.
The tenants provided by the council are households in urgent housing need, but the council said they will be checked before being placed in a private property.
