PEOPLE were treated for smoke inhalation after garden sheds caught fire.

Fire crews were called to Bishops Close in Totton just before 6pm this evening to reports of a shed alight.

Crews from St Mary’s and Redbridge fire stations attended the incident and used two breathing apparatus and a hose reel to extinguish the blaze, which affected four sheds.

Four people were treated for smoke inhalation at the scene by South Central Ambulance Service but no one was seriously hurt.

The fire was out by 7.42pm.

We can can assume he saw it on the way home, had his tea, maybe a beer and deemed it news worthy 4 hours later. Or was it his tea ?

Yes, yes, yes I know people breathed in a bit of smoke and I hope they return to their previous health.

Saw the smoke on the way home tonight, I thought it was coming from the allotments, I guessed it was probably a shed fire. Glad it wasn't the houses & that no-one was seriously hurt.
