Winchester to host national awards
WINCHESTER is set to host prestigious national awards in March 2017.
The city council is setting aside £19,500 to help organise the Civic Trust Awards to be held at the Guildhall.
The day-long event celebrates the best in architectural design and will attract some 300 people, bringing an economic boost to the city.
The guests will be invited to stay in the city and the council is organising walking tours to local sites of interest.
