A VIGIL for the victims in war-torn Gaza will be held in Southampton tonight.

The Southampton Palestine Solidarity Campaign is holding the vigil outside the Civic Centre on 5.30pm.

It is expected to last around an hour.

The vigil follows three protest marches in the city calling for an end to the conflict.

He launches missiles from residential areas so any attempt by Israel to target those sites ends in civilian casualties.

So no vigil after 9/11, 7/7, Madrid, Westgate, Boston, Bali, Beslan, Lee Rigby etc etc etc but Gaza gets one after Israel responds to the kidnap and murder of 3 teenagers and Hamas rocket attacks on civilian targets. Why the double standards? Is Israel a worse human rights violator than Saudi Arabia? Yemen? Somalia? Afghanistan? Or maybe it's something else - can anyone spot the link here?
