Speed Watch groups call
BISHOP’S Waltham Parish Council wants to attract more volunteers for Community Speed Watch groups.
Volunteers are vetted and trained by Hampshire Constabulary.
Speedwatch sessions are usually two hours and involve members recording information of vehicles which exceed the limit.
The registered owner is sent a letter requesting it is not done again.
Repeated speeding is reported to the police.
