BUDDING young footballers in Southampton are being urged to lace up their boots and show off their skills in a tournament on Thursday.

Hampshire Constabulary has organised the football bonanza at Southampton Sports Centre which is aimed at reducing anti-social behaviour.

Anyone between the age of ten and 18 can come along and take part, or if any teams of five want to enter they can turn up on the day.

There will be refreshments, music and various activities on the day. It starts at 9.30am, and will run through to 4pm. To find out more email bob.stafford@ hampshire.pnn.police.uk.
