A MAN was found dead in his car by a cyclist.
Martin John Cooper, 54, was discovered in his silver Saab in Monument Lane, Portchester, at about 6.55am on March 20.
An inquest heard how emergency services smashed the window of the locked car before discovering Mr Cooper’s body in the back seat.
A toxicology test later revealed he had died as a result of a multiple drug overdose.
Mr Cooper, who lived at Western Terrace, Stamshore, Portsmouth, was trained as a nurse but had not worked since 2000 due to ongoing mental health problems.
