BUDDING stars have given the performance of a lifetime after taking part in a week-long showbiz school.

The A&L Academy opened its doors in Hedge End for the fourth year for a summer school for children aged four to 16. The theme was High School Musical and for one week a group of 43 performers learned a variety of dance styles and acting tricks in preparation their final show for their friends and family.

With the guidance of British champions Lisa and Alex Invanets, who have a combined 58 years in the industry, it was a big success.

Lisa said: “It was definitely our best one yet, the kids were great and everyone really enjoyed themselves. This is a great way to spend the summer during school terms and there has been so much talent on that stage.”
