THEY breed like, well, rabbits – but these bundles of fur are sure to kindle interest from new owners.

Southampton Rabbit Rescue took on the four adult and 17 baby rabbits after their Harefield owner became inundated. She had been wrongly advised on the gender of her pets.

Now the 21 lionhead, cashmere and dwarf lop mix rabbits are all looking for new homes.

Sue Leigh, who runs the rescue centre in Bursledon, said: “It had just got out of control and she couldn’t afford it.

“They were well looked after and they had no health problems. They’re absolutely cute, sweet little things.”
