THESE teenagers have dug out their walking boots as they prepare to walk through the night to help the homeless.

A team of 13 youngsters will walk 20km from Ringwood to Brockenhurst to raise money for New Forest charity Nightstop, which provides emergency accommodation for homeless 16 to 24-year-olds.

Bella Rix, Eve Soloman, Aimee Barnes, Chloe White, Megan Millar, Matt Handley, Felix Scott, Mary Crane, Ollie Jones and Emelia Childs-Atkinson along with leaders Charlotte White Tom Wilkinson and Giacamo Bengomi will take part in the challenge as part of their National Citizenship Service (NCS).

The NCS scheme aims to help 15 to 17-year-olds build confidence and skills by taking part in team-building activities, holding workshops at schools and supporting the community.

The teenagers, who are all from the New Forest, hope their walk, which starts today, will raise at least £800 for the charity.
