HORDES of screaming fans are set to descend on Hampshire as one of the UK's hottest boy bands pays a visit.

The Southampton store of HMV has announced that Union J will be heading to the town centre next Wednesday to sign copies of their new single.

Hundreds of fans took to social media last night expressing their excitement of the chance to meet their music idols, who first hit our television screens in 2012 on the X Factor.

Tonight (We live forever) is released on Sunday and is the first single from their second studio album, which is still unnamed and will be out later in the year.

It will be part of a nationwide tour of HMV stores and they publicise their new song.

The band, made up of Jaymi, Josh, JJ and George, came fourth in the ninth series of the reality competition and released their first album last year.
