Today the Daily Echo can reveal which gorgeous tots made it through to the final stages of our Child of the Year 2014 search.

Beating competition from across Hampshire the following youngsters are our finalists this year, having all received the most amount of support in our public vote.

Now a panel of judges has the difficult task of choosing the winner from each of the age categories along with a second and third placed child.

From each of the age category winners, an overall winner is then crowned, taking on the title from last year’s winner Aaron Ladher But who will it be?

Could it be Archie Killick, Max Harris, Thomas Jefferies or Courtney-Rose Turner or Jack Palmer from the 0-to-nine-month category? Or will it be a child from the 10-to-18-month category which includes Harvey Dumper, Layla Cowans, Nevaeh Murray, Jasmine Watts or James Elmes.

The finalists in the 19-to-36-month category are Taylor Smith-Ling, Lloyd Runnalls, Ty Hawkins, Harry Paxton, Rhys Holloway. Or will the crown go to one of our older children in the three-to-five-year category – Harvey Brandon, Elliott Norris, Brooke Oliver, Krystal Harris-Nyiro and Harry Loines.

One thing is for certain, one of these bonny babes will be celebrating becoming the face of Child of the Year 2014 which this year celebrates its 20th anniversary of sponsorship by The Marlands.

The panel of judges will now meet over the next few days before the winners are unveiled. Along with the title, the winner will receive £200 worth of vouchers to spend in The Marlands shopping centre in Southampton and a crystal bowl. First place age category winners receive £100 of vouchers, second place £50 of vouchers and third place £25 worth of vouchers. Winners also receive a framed print and certificate.
