Motorway delays after car fire
MOTORISTS faced long delays after a car fire on a motorway.
The vehicle was ablaze on the hard shoulder of the M3 northbound between junction 12 at Chandler's Ford and junction 11 at Eastleigh.
Two appliances from Hampshire Fire and Rescue are on the scene and the fire appears to have started in the car's engine.
Drivers faced tailbacks as far as the junction with the M27 near Southampton.
