Villagers to take part in wartime commemoration
VILLAGERS will take part in a wartime commemoration on Saturday, October 4 at All Saints Church and Parish Hall when there will be a Great War Dinner and Dance – giving residents the chance to remember the fallen.
There will be a three-course meal in the candlelit church with readings, a musical interlude, followed by music and dancing in the parish hall until midnight.
Tickets cost £40 each and went on sale at the Post Office on August 1.
The dress code is Edwardian country house style.
