Post offices to extend opening hours
TWO post offices in Chandler’s Ford will offer extended opening hours as branches across the country are refurbished.
Fryern Hill Post Office, currently in Fryern Hill, will open for 38 extra hours a week when it relocates to Fryern Arcade on Thursday.
The new branch will open on Friday, from 7am to 7pm Mondays to Saturdays, and 7am to 4pm on Sundays.
Hiltingbury Post Office, in Ashdown Road, will close for refurbishment on September 24, with the new branch opening on October 3.
It will open for five extra hours on Saturdays.
Disability access will also be improved at both branches.
Hiltingbury customers are advised to visit branches in Fryern Hill or Main Road, Hursley, during the disruption.
