Bus drivers aim for pedestrians all the time, I've seen it over and over again in town. If the lights are green and people are crossing they just go full throttle at them. One day they will kill someone, for what?

Rubbish !! why would they risk peoples lives and ruining their career and livelihood !! Majority of commercial vehicles mainly buses have CCTV on board as well , so what a childish playground comment you have made . I guess you're one of these people that go out to cause trouble and misery for others and telling tells as a kid lol , I have seen pedestrians run out in front of all types of vehicles from bicycles to larger road vehicles. Usually distracted by being late wearing earphones etc , as pedestrians i'm sure most of us our guilty of that.

You forgot to mention the pedestrians who have suicidal tendencies when it comes to traffic lights. The lights at New Road are a case in point. I have seen people walk out in front of a bus when the lights have been green for at least a minute. You cant stop a bus as quick as a car.

I too have experienced buses charging at me. I think there are a minority of bus drivers who are very antagonistic towards pedestrians. Two instances that happened to me in the past couple of weeks: (1) I was crossing a side road and a bus turned in without indicating not waiting for me to finish crossing (my right of way) and carried on driving at me, I was able to move out of the way, had I stumbled there would have be no way for the bus to stop in time. (2) Traffic was stationary and I was approaching a zebra crossing (on foot). There was a bus at the zebra crossing, and after the zebra crossing stationary traffic. I thought it was very decent that the bus driver had left the crossing free, just as I stepped off the pavement to cross, the bus driver deliberately drove across the crossing to block me - now the traffic in front of the bus had not moved there was no excuse for this behaviour - I raised my arms in a gesture of "Why did you do that?" the bus driver just laughed at me. Most bus drivers are courteous and mindful of pedestrians and other road users, however, despite CCTV, some are not.

& thereby proving bigfellas point!. I would have to agree that some drivers do this, but the majority are sensible as with any driving profession.
