£2.5m plans for Lakeside Country Park in Eastleigh go on show today
THE public can get their first glimpse of plans to upgrade leisure facilities at a lake.
Plans for a £2.5 million upgrade at Lakeside Country Park in Eastleigh were announced earlier this year.
They feature a new water sports centre, new changing rooms, storage, toilets, catering and function room facilities and solar panels.
The new buildings could open in spring 2016.
Today Eastleigh Borough Council is holding the first of a series of exhibitions to show residents the plans.
It will take place at the existing centre at Lakeside from 10am to noon and there will be three more sessions this week.
Exhibitions will take place at the centre on Monday (4-6pm), Tuesday (4-6pm) and Wednesday (10.30am-12.30pm).
