A DISGRACED Hampshire MP has quit his party, it has been reported.
Mike Hancock, the Lib Dem member of parliament for Portsmouth South is said to have resigned from the party.
Earlier this year, the former city councillor had been suspended from the Liberal Democrats over his conduct involving a female constituent.
The politican had denied the victim's accusations, until she decided to bring a civil case against him, after police opted not the pursue with a complaint she made to them.
Mr Hancock settled out of court, after making an apology for his actions.
