Air Ambulance
A WOMAN suffered severe leg injuries after being kicked by a horse in a Hampshire field today.
The woman was struck by the animal while on land behind Precosa Road, Botley, at 11.35am.
The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance was called to the scene as paramedics arrived to treat her for But she was taken by road ambulance to the Southampton General Hospital with a suspected broken leg.
It is not yet known the she was tending to the animal or the circumstances as to why it struck her.
