AN investigation is underway into the cause of a bungalow fire.
A total of 15 firefighters from Hightown, St Mary's and Botley fire stations were called to the property in Farringford Road, in the Thornhill area of Southampton, at around 2.19am today.
The property, currently unoccupied, was well alight on arrival.
Firefighters used two jets, two hosereels, positive pressure ventilation, and an aerial ladder platform to put out the blaze.
The roof was destroyed in the incident.
The incident was over by 5.35am.
