Blaze forces road closure
THERE was traffic chaos after a house fire forced a city centre road to shut.
Part of Lodge Road in Southampton was closed after a house was evacuated when a fire broke out in a loft at 4.15pm yesterday.
There were queues of traffic on to Lodge Road from The Avenue during rush hour as firefighters attended the incident.
