Crash on major city road causes delays
MOTORISTS heading in and out of Southampton tonight can expect delays after a car crash on one of the city's busiest roads.
A car and a motorcycle were in collision on the A35 Redbridge causeway westbound. An ambulance is on the scene and it is not yet known how serious any injuries are.
The accident which happened at 5.14pm involved a purple Volkswagen Golf and a silver motorcycle.
Police say that the road is still open but the incident is blocking part of the outside lane.
