IT is being billed as the biggest event of its kind in the south and today we are giving our readers the chance to go for free.

Two family tickets are up for grabs for next year’s Let’s Rock! festival in Southampton.

As reported yesterday, the line-up for the ’80s revival event has now been revealed with the likes of Hot Chocolate, Bucks Fizz and Five Star all confirmed.

Also on the bill will be Rick Astley, Jimmy Somerville, T’Pau and the Thompson Twins’ Tom Bailey.

Organisers are hoping to make next year’s event bigger and better than the one which saw 12,000 music fans fill the Common to enjoy a line up of classic acts from the 80s.

Billy Ocean topped the bill, bringing the curtain down on the inaugural event in Southampton this summer.

Next year’s event will not only see a stellar line-up of talent for the expected 15,000-stong crowd, but organisers are also laying on a VIP area where a team of stylists will be on-hand for the ultimate 80s makeover.

Organiser Matt Smith said: “We have increased the capacity for 2015 and expect to sell out early. We want to grow Let’s Rock Southampton into the biggest 80s festival in the UK.”

Children will also be entertained with a new “Let’s Rock! playpen”, along with circus workshops, face painting, crafts, tricycles and the “Disco Shack”.

Tickets are now on sale for the event that takes place on July 11 on Southampton Common, but you can get your hands on a family ticket worth £99 each.
