A SILENT courthouse has been transformed into an explosion of sound and colour after being given a new lease of life.
SoCo Music Project and partners hosted an open day at Eastleigh Magistrates’ Court complete with live music, storytelling, performance events and creative workshops.
Electric guitars joined tubas, and revellers raised their hands in the air to Southampton Ukelele Jam during the launch of The Courthouse.
SoCo has major ambitions for the project and there are plans to hold a series of events, including a Festival of International Music in February 2015 and a Festival of Urban Culture in November this year.
