When Bram Stoker wrote his wonderful novel Dracula in 1897, he could never have imagined that more than a century later, his classic horror story would inspire this rockin’ homage.

Vampires, goths and ghouls; black lipstick, black fishnet stockings, long black boots and short black mini-skirts – and that was just the audience!

The stage is set with deliciously dark menace, fire flickers, and the hard-rock live band explodes into Welcome To The Jungle and Highway To Hell.

Starring charismatic Steve Steinman as Baron Von Rockula, the evil vampire with long black leather coats and powerful rock vocals, the flimsy storyline (who cares!) has the reserved and innocent Pandora – shy and bespectacled – auditioning for a singing job at the Baron’s seedy club Live And Let Die.

Vampire Von Rockula soon fangs her neck (lots of stage blood) and she transforms into a raunchy rock chick.

With dramatic lighting and fireworks, sexy costumes and cage dancing, this entertaining show combines great rock anthems – I Need A Hero, Since You’ve Been Gone, and Total Eclipse Of The Heart with the deviant delights of Gothic horror.

Foreshadowing a new show next year, the Baron is shot through the heart with a crossbow arrow, roaring an excruciating version of My Way, and ends up in his coffin.

The thundering finale features The Final Countdown, We Will Rock You, and the epic Like A Bat Out Of Hell.

This is a spectacularly fang-tastic show.
