IT could be the spookiest house in Hampshire.
Dad-of-three Daniel Buckingham has transformed his home in Southampton into a Halloween haunted house.
The 38-year-old has put more than 10,000 lights on his home in Margam Avenue, Sholing and added several spooky touches for a 40-minute Halloween show in aid of the Piam Brown Ward at Southampton General Hospital.
Adding to his creepy creation is a giant spider just above his front door, a zombie Santa Claus and a grave yard in the front garden and a pumpkin man on top of the garage.
It is the third year in a row that the marine technician has given his home a Halloween makeover, but this year he only spent £400.
Since 2012 Daniel has been adorning his home with Halloween and Christmas lights to raise money for Cedar School and the Piam Brown Ward and has raised £4000, and he has no intention to stop.
He said: “I do it for the community and the children really. And people that do not have a great deal of money.
He has tried to scale down his Halloween spectaculars as he fears they may become too big.
Mr Buckingham added: “I hand out flyers and tell the neighbours about it beforehand I have not had one complaint yet, everyone that I have spoken to on the street thinks it's a good idea.
“Last year the show was massive and this year I am expecting a few more people. What I don't want is the road becoming too full and our neighbours not being able to get up or down the road.”
