A MAJOR police search was launched today after a woman went missing in Hampshire.
The police helicopter was called into action to help officers as they searched Brockenhurst for the woman for several hours.
The operation was launched at 1.20pm after concerns were raised about her welfare.
But at around 4.40pm, she was found safe and well.
A police spokesman would not confirm any other details about the missing woman, but said: “The person has been found safe and well and has been reunited with their family.”
