Coastguards help stricken boat
LIFEBOATS were called to help a fishing boat that was stranded at sea.
The 24-foot boat was unable to move after its anchor became tangled around its propeller just before 11pm tonight as the boat sailed near Fort Gilkicker at Stokes Bay, Gosport.
The three crew members called Solent Coastguard using a mobile phone because the vessel's radio was broken.
Gosport Lifeboat, whose station was visible from the boat, helped toe it back to land.
