A SPONSORED walk has raised more than £3,000 for a Hampshire hospice.
Mark Johns, managing director of chartered accountants and business advisers Princecroft Willis (PcW), took five days to complete 100-mile trek in aid of the Oakhaven complex in Lymington.
Accompanied by Mike Denny, Oakhaven’s head of fundraising, Mark initially walked the Dorset Coastal Path from West Bay to Shell |Bay.
He then covered a further 17 miles from Sandbanks to Barton-on-Sea, where he was greeted by colleagues from PcW’s New Milton office.
Mark has now presented Oakhaven with a cheque for £3,145, a sum described as “magnificent” by Mr Denny.
The walk was one of several community |and charity activities being undertaken by |PcW’s directors to mark the firm’s centenary this year.
