A winter bird-spotting walk is on offer in Southampton next week
THE Hawthorns Centre on Southampton Common is hosting a Winter Birds Walk on December 3.
Southampton City Council’s land management ecologist Phil Simmons will lead the group to see what birds have joined the city for the winter and which have left.
The walk starts at the centre at 1pm.
